• NRGship Pro for UPS functionality for importing Microsoft Excel data is not compatible at this time with OS X 10.7. If you are importing Microsoft Excel data you should not upgrade.

Don Levan of Vanguard Custom Software used NRG’s newly updated Ship Connect interface  during his “Fundamentals of Exceptional Interface Design session which featured tips on creating successful user interfaces.

Ship Connect is NRG’s FileMaker solution that is integrated with NRG’s UPS, USPS, Fedex,  and Freight files.  It eliminates the need for multiple integrations and simplifies the user experience of shipping with multiple carriers.

Don featured the main menu screen as an example of how to provide all the options of the software to the user from one screen.

Additional highlights of the presentation included current information about interface and interaction design best practices, our shared human psychology and abilities, and the ways to leverage FileMaker tools to create exceptional user experiences.

The annual FileMaker Developer Conference will be in full swing next week and NRG will be in attendance showcasing the latest in our FileMaker solutions.  DevCon is put on yearly by FileMaker to educate and promote FileMaker development and showcase a wide range of products and services.

NRG will be exhibiting and giving attendees the first glimpse of our new Go app for the iPad. The new app utilizes FileMaker’s recent release of software for the iPad. Soon you’ll be able to ship from any carrier on the Go with NRG’s FileMaker solutions.

ApparelMagic, a FileMaker-based retail sales and inventory management system, now features integration with NRGship UPS and NRGship FedEx in their latest release.  ApparelMagic has been serving the fashion industry for 25+ years offering integrated accounting, EDI, shipping and management software.
