| How can I get my negotiated rates in NRG's UPS Shipping Software? | ||||||||
1. For NRGship UPS Pro or UPS for FileMaker users First, go to Preferences > Accounts and provide your UPS Sales Representative with the "UPS Rate Code" related to your account. Provide them with these instructions. Your UPS Representative will enable negotiated rates. Once this is complete, you need to select the "Both Published and Negotiated Rates" Rates option. (If you select that prior to the rates being activated, you will receive a warning message when shipping) 2. For NRGship UPS users If you selected that you receive negotiated rates when you registered, you will have received an email with your UPS rate code along with instructions to forward to your UPS representative. **Important Note for UPS Reps** "UPS Rate Code" = the ups.com ID that is created automatically when the customer uses the license and registration tool to register to use NRGship (or any other API vendor's) UPS software. We understand from our support team at UPS in Atlanta that this is not normally given to the customer, as they should NOT try to access ups.com with this ID, as it could create issues, hence it is called a "UPS Rate Code" in all vendor software. |
