NRGship for UPS Compatibility with macOS Big Sur

macOS 11, also known as Big Sur was released on Thursday, November 12th, 2020. Big Sur is is a free update from Apple. It will run on most any Mac made since 2013, however we consider this a major OS release. Big Sur sports a refined interface, and under the hood removes older technology which can break compatability with applications, while adding support for Apple’s new silicon processors. NRGship for UPS has been tested under Big Sur however we highly suggest users wait to upgrade to ensure compatibility across all installed applications.

Well, this is a lost opportunity for you guys.

Your implementation has a broken GUI, “Service Options” button is blocked by a simple text input field. Very basic error, not sure how you could overlook this.

No ability to resize or fullscreen the window.

Lacks important features from earlier versions. You can’t create, edit, or delete entries from the address book.

These are simple game breakers. Was hoping to use NRG with a new M1 Mini I purchased to test, but looks like I’ll be returning it and buying a PC.

You guys are losing $$$, step your game up!

Hi Michael, I’m sorry to hear you had issues. We did issue an update which resolved the GUI issue. I’d like to hear more about how you’d want it to appear full screen. The address book issues are related to macOS security.
