Recently we received a Kublet Data Tracker from a Kickstarter Project that we supported. These are super neat stackable and magnetic devices that can display simple dynamic data. Using a server-side script that runs periodically on FileMaker Server you can perform a query for the necessary data and then invoke Insert From URL with a simple GET request (http://192.168.35.147/update?value=25&name=Pending%20Orders) to update the display data on the device. By stacking multiple devices you can easily display multiple datapoints without the need to build out a dashboard in FileMaker itself or you can mount the devices in an area with no physical computer.
