Our NRGship solutions have the ability to expose OData endpoints for enhanced integration with external systems. We prefer to deploy NRGship for customers with hosted solutions as a customized installer so that manual configuration is not needed on workstations. With the Assisted Install option for Claris FileMaker Pro we can build these installers however recent macOS versions, MDM solutions, or security tools may not like the installers being "untrusted." This goes a long way to providing a consistent look for components as opposed to different control styles from different vendors. We recently did a project where weather data needed to be overlayed onto a map. We couldn't find any public APIs which would return "Weather Channel" like maps with locations plotted so we leveraged Google Maps and the OpenWeather API to produce a map showing only locations which have snow warning or advisories. Weather data is updated every 4 hours automatically so that the map is always current. Selecting a location shows more detail including contact information. Recently we received a Kublet Data Tracker from a Kickstarter Project that we supported.  These are super neat stackable and magnetic devices that can display simple dynamic data. Using a server-side script that runs periodically on FileMaker Server you can perform a query for the necessary data and then invoke Insert From URL with a simple GET request (http://192.168.35.147/update?value=25&name=Pending%20Orders) to update the display data on the device. Working with a DataLogic reseller, NRG Software has provided installation and configuration support for Matrix 320 stationary scanners. By implementing barcode scanning above a motorized roller, proper order fulfillment can be verified without the need for hand-scanning. With the Matrix 320, the scan engine can be programmed to scan only specific barcodes on a package.
